Seriously Groovy stuff. A Groovy relationship is blossoming at Gravity

Sometimes, a company comes along that does things for love, not just profits. Devon-based outfit, The Groovy Food Company, is a case in point. And a tasty new relationship with Gravity means Groovy's products are set to make an even bigger splash on the nation's tables.

First, a little history. One winter, a lady called Rosie grew tired of suffering from years of back and joint problems. So, she decided to try and make herself feel better. She studied nutrition and changed her diet. Then came a chance meeting between Omega 3, 6, 9 and a blender. A good few Omega cocktails later, she felt better than ever. Rosie just knew she had to share her passion for healthy, nutritious food with the world. The Groovy Food Company was born.

Today, customers far and wide are singing the praises of Groovy’s Agave Nectar and Cool Oil product ranges. Agave Nectar is proving particularly popular with customers looking for a natural alternative to sugar and artificial sweeteners. Thanks to its low GI (Glycaemic Index) content, Agave Nectar is also finding favour with diabetics. With sales going well and a new premium product range on the horizon, Groovy felt it was a good time to pep up the packaging.

In December last year, Gravity and Groovy joined forces to consider a new creative approach for the nourishingly natural sweetener. “Sam and I worked together a few years ago in a Bristol agency,” said Paul Richards, Sales and Marketing Director at The Groovy Food Company. “We got on well, so when it came to revisiting our packaging, it made sense to give Sam a call.”

Ever since, the Gravity team has been busy cooking up designs for the planned premium products and Groovy’s existing range. The project has also involved ensuring the new look works across the company’s future brand extensions. “The Gravity team’s efforts have been fantastic,” said Paul. “They really do look brilliant and I’m confident our new products will fly off the shelves.’

Checking the fine print

Clients often ask us why agencies send them printer proofs to sign, even though they’ve approved the PDFs. Sometimes, it feels like another laborious part of the process. But it’s an essential one.

And another thing:
Another year. Another giant leap for mankind?

At the dawn of a new year, it’s natural to want to embrace mankind's myriad of technological enhancements. So why do I find myself back at my desk (yep, too cold for gardening) wondering why so many of the everyday things we rely on are just rubbish?
