The identity was developed to expand upon the Characters name. The concept of wearing different hats for different roles seemed to reflect perfectly the job of the copywriter.
The brochure adopts a concertina-fold format to encapsulate the Characters proposition. Featuring full page illustrations and a vibrant colour palette we created an engaging introductory piece that could also be used as a mailer.
Inside the brochure our illustrations build on the theatrical theme to create an instant impression – ensuring Characters stand out from the crowd.

While copywriters often rely on words alone to promote themselves, Characters, realised it would require enticing imagery, colours and typography to bring its message to life.
Working with illustrator Tim Bradford, we commissioned a family of illustrations to complement the identity’s theatrical theme. A refreshing alternative to typical typographic approaches has also helped Characters stand out from the crowd.
